For the ADNOC Yas in Schools National Finals at Yas Marina Circuit, 3DB was selected to deliver a full-scale technical production, including custom scenic solutions, video broadcasting, LED screens, lighting, rigging, and onsite integration. As a flagship education and innovation event, Yas in Schools required a production that matched its energy, ambition, and brand values — combining seamless function with immersive, engaging design.
At the heart of our delivery was a series of custom scenic solutions designed specifically for this event. This included the design, fabrication, and installation of bespoke scenic elements such as branded stage backdrops, competition area surrounds, and fully custom-built tunnel entrances. These tunnels, built to fit the event’s futuristic theme, served not only as entry points but as visual statements — featuring integrated LED lighting, curved scenic panels, and branded finishes that elevated the audience and participant experience.
Supporting the scenic environment, we provided a robust video broadcasting system to ensure high-quality live coverage across the venue. Multiple camera feeds were managed through a central control system, enabling seamless live relay to strategically positioned LED screens. These screens were used for real-time viewing, award moments, sponsor visibility, and branded content, keeping guests, students, and VIPs engaged throughout the competition.
Our lighting and rigging package added depth and energy to the space. Intelligent fixtures were mounted on flown trusses to provide atmospheric colour washes, audience lighting, and key light for the competition zones and main stage. Everything was designed to work harmoniously with the scenic and video systems — creating a clean, modern environment that photographed beautifully and functioned flawlessly.
From concept to execution, 3DB handled every detail of the technical infrastructure. We worked closely with Ethara and ADNOC Yas in Schools F1, along with their education partners to ensure that the environment not only met broadcast standards but also reflected the forward-thinking identity of the Yas in Schools program.
