When world-renowned DJ David Guetta performed live from the iconic helipad of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, it wasn’t just a concert — it was a global moment. As part of his United at Homecharity series, the event aimed to raise funds for children’s education affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. 3DB was proud to be chosen as the production partner to deliver full service solutions for this once-in-a-lifetime broadcast event, 200 metres above sea level.

With the world watching, precision and creativity were essential. 3DB handled every aspect of the production, including lighting, audio, video, power distribution, and staging — all adapted for the helipad’s highly unique location. The rigging and scenic elements were designed to perform flawlessly in extreme conditions, while the lighting and video design brought energy and atmosphere to both the live performance and the camera. The entire setup was engineered to be safely installed and operated at height, with minimal disruption and maximum visual impact.

The result was nothing short of spectacular. Streamed live to over 36 million viewers on YouTube, the performance was not only a technical achievement but also a creative triumph — showcasing Dubai’s skyline, world-class talent, and the power of music for a global cause. For 3DB, delivering full service solutions at this scale and complexity reinforced our ability to operate at the highest level of live event production.
